Hi, my name is Clara Kuo and I live in Palo Alto, CA, home of venture capital, startups, and law firms. Nice to meet you on the world wide web.
I spend a lot of free time in my kitchen. I might be actively cooking something, but in my mind, I’m thinking a lot about how food affects us in different ways, or how businesses can work better or worrying a lot about how we might be affecting animals and the environment. There is so much going on in my head that I feel obligated to blog. If I don’t blog, I just feel guilty, so let’s see how long I can avoid a guilt trip this time around.
I once was a contributor for a business sustainability blog and I just started to write for them again recently.
But, like the average working person, I have so many to-do lists. One item on my list is to one day complete a century ride, another is to always make time for tea on the weekend, yet another is trying to conquer entropy in my home.
There are many more to do lists that I have to contend with daily at the marketing research firm where I work. As a project director and data analyst, my colleagues and I a lot of my favorite questions (how, where, what, why, when, how much?). It’s a fun place to learn, make sense of the world, and help companies find answers to big business questions.
In 2007, I earned an MBA in International Marketing, from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, Fisher School.
